she stands within you

Her flowers open in your body
spirals fill your flesh with light.

You want Her like a river wants air.
River music moves you.

You are not swimming any longer
you are sinking upwards
into Her arms.

You are a rock in your own river
the cataract, the sudden fall.

You offer Her
the slow train wreck of your life.

She stands within you
arms raised
waiting for your river
to fall through Her heart.
